This is a short list in correct order to get the dofus, for more detailed information and struggeling at the dofus wiki explanation, you can also view this: walkthrough emerald dofus quests

It is adviced to have a profession at lvl 100 before you start this. Otherwise you will need to get that during the questline.

Also obtain the Soul capturing spell and the Mount taming spell you will need them to be able to start a quest later on. 

And you will need to have the First Time achievement and the Pregnant or just fat achievement. Which means that you will have to mate 2 mounts and give birth to a baby dragoturkey. (you can buy fertile mounts on the market most of the time, if you dont wanna go to the effort of figuring out how that all works, just place a male and a female DT who are fertile together in a paddock (be sure the female one is a low lvl generation, like almond/ginger/golden because they give birth sooner then higher lvl generations like striped ones as plum & emerald etc.) , do it quick and they will probably mate soon enough, otherwise just wait it out.

if you don't want to find the bandits during the Cania bandits quests you can make the scales yourself.
If available you can buy these items from the market. Or maybe you have dropped them earlier or with another char helping out others.
To make the scales yourself you will need:

5 Scale of courage fragment
5 Scale of ferocity fragment
5 Scale of endurance fragment
3 Smoked pebble
