Hello  i would like to apologize if my guildie offended you, i was not there. But i think that saying what he said is not breaking the rules, here is what he said: "[23:10] (Alliance) Gshox: accepting donations of piwi feathers and sesame seeds".

Our alliance chat rules say: 

✘ Ask for, or buy/sell, items that can be found in the markets
✘ Be rude or make personal attacks to someone, even when you think they've broken a rule
✘ Repeatedly ask for any kind of help, except for AvA events or Giant Kralove opening, etc
✘ Have long arguments/conversations between two people, on a topic that seems uninteresting to other people in the alliance
✘ Argue with alliance chat moderators or argue about rules.


I don't think he was asking/selling/buying for those things, he just said that he is taking donations if you have some to spare. I don't think he did it many times and i don't think he argued with the allliance chat moderator.

But maybe i am wrong, let me know so i can fix my way of thinking and don't have problems.

When an item is in market, it's not allowed to ask to buy it, and it's also not allowed to ask for donations of that item. That's what the "ask for" in the rule means.

Even though what he said didn't come with a question mark, "stating" you're taking donations in /a is the same as asking for donations.

So if i say for example: "Bellanc: Hey guys im leveling tailor and im collecting boar resources, they are hard to get so i accept any help with those". Something like that is breaking the rules?

If the resources are in market, yes that's technically against the rules.

No need to blow this up guys, i just posted this like the other one as a reminder. So when it happens again we all can see that it's not first time. Told him not to do it and he stopped, which was most important even that he didn't agree with my point of view about the rules.

yea i think its different if you was to ask something like what bellanc said, but asked them to help you hunt them instead so you have a bigger group and more drops. as thats recruiting for a party which as far as im aware is ok.

Yes the way Bellanc puts it is asking for a group which is of course no problem.
Though asking for donations is same as 'begging' for me.

Asking for help with dropping an item is OK. If the item is out of stock, it's also OK to say you want to buy/accept donations of the item, and you already checked market, where it is out of stock.
